About

Our Story

Choosing to stay at home enables you to live your life on your terms. You can stay with your pet, keep in touch with friends and family and eat the food you like to eat. Having a carer on hand to provide support, and companionship provides a much-improved quality of life for our clients who have previously struggled with day to day routines of life.

As a care company with over 30 years’ experience we’ll provide a skilled, conscientious and friendly carer to deliver one-to-one care to our clients in the comfort of their own home. We know that providing the very best care is about finding the right people who genuinely care about helping and getting things right for you. The training and support we provide for our care staff means that, in turn, they provide the very best level of care to our clients. We are extremely proud of the environment we have created where our care staff are valued and rewarded for the work they do.

Our Team

We aim to offer a flexible and professional service that is tailored to the individual service users requirements, whilst respecting a service user’s right to access a service that realises individual potential, equality and diversity, privacy, dignity, safety, independence and choice.

James, Lucy, Leah and Melissa know that getting care right for families ultimately starts with creating and nurturing an exemplary culture within the business. They find joy and purpose in working alongside colleagues that give the very best of themselves bring out the very best in others. Their desire is that every single member of the team, no matter their role, is able to play to their strengths every day, continually learning, growing and bettering themselves within an organisation where they truly feel like part of a family.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to treat our service users as individuals respecting their right to freedom of choice privacy and confidentially. We aim to offer a service that is a service user person centred holistic support, involving service users and their family in the planning implementation and evaluation of that support.

Our Vision

Leadership

We have a very strong management team in place which includes 2 Partners and our Care Manager. Our Partners Jim Fordyce and Lucy Fatkin bring over 20 years of domiciliary care experience between them and Jim owned until recently the Largest Private Care at Home company in Scotland. Mel our care manager has worked in the care sector for over 10 years and has her degree in Health and Social care.

Staff

We recognise that the domiciliary care sector is often perceived as having poorly paid and low skilled staff and that staff turnover is very high. To enable us to provide exceptional care to our Customers we will change this.
Our Workers will be paid a minimum of £11.00 per hour.
No staff will be on zero hour’s contract.
All staff will be properly vetted and will be trained to minimum of NVQ2.

Technology

We use technology in a way that will increase the quality of our service and enhance transparency of the support we provide.

We constantly monitor the service we provide by:

N
Regularly meeting with our clients
N
Regularly carrying out reviews with our carers
N
Surveying our clients and acting upon their feedback to ensure we continually improve
N
Investing in systems that mean we always monitor the care being provided and the standard of service being delivered
N
We are for self-funding families. By strategically choosing not to engage with council services, it means we can offer a fully bespoke and premium service
N
We provide a fully-managed service. This means we take the stress out of managing care provision yourself, so you can spend more quality time as a family
N
We go the whole way. We don’t believe in remaining at home ‘for as long as possible’. Instead, with the right foundations and resources, we believe it possible for elderly people to live out their days with dignity and grace in the comfort of their own homes
N
We focus on relationships. With visits from two hours or more, we place huge importance on building quality and meaningful relationships. We know that having a consistent face is imperative to providing premium care
N
We excel at supporting elderly people. By only focusing on this group, we have become experts in elderly care
